Galaxy C9 Pro is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, having an 81 score against 74.4. The Galaxy C9 Pro body is somewhat thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, although it is a little bit heavier and was released a bit more further than a year before. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but Galaxy C9 Pro has older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy C9 Pro, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 also has a slightly higher 1080 x 2160px resolution and a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy C9 Pro's CPU is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 one, and although the Galaxy C9 Pro has more RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.

The Galaxy C9 Pro's battery lifetime is very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 one.
The Galaxy C9 Pro counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Galaxy C9 Pro also has a larger diafragm aperture to take better photography and videos in low-light situations and a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.
