Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, having a score of 87.1 against 74.4. Although it's the best in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a somewhat heavier and just a little bit thicker device than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. The Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a better 1440 x 2960px resolution, a better pixel density and a quite larger screen.
The Galaxy Note9 features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB and 64 GB more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Note9 has a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note9 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 shoots much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a way bigger diafragm aperture for better images in poorly lited environments and a lot higher (4K) video resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9's battery life is very similar to the battery life in Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
