Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, having a global score of 77.2 against 76.4. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has the newer 8.1 Oreo version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is noticeably newer than Xiaomi Mi 5s, it is a lot heavier and just a little thicker.
Xiaomi Mi 5s features just a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the screen and a quite more brightness. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features just a bit bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi 5s both count with very similar processing units, although the Xiaomi Mi 5s has lesser RAM and lesser cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. The Xiaomi Mi 5s captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light captures and video, and they both have a back facing camera with a 12 megapixels, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much better 3840x2160 video resolution.
