Galaxy A80 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, with a global score of 84.9 against 80.3. Despite being the best device we are comparing, we must tell that it's also somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. Samsung Galaxy A80 has a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy A80 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy A80, because although it has a bit smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a just a little greater display density. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A80, and although they both have a 0.5 inches sensor, the same resolution back camera and the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light images and video and faster video frame rate.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A80, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 256 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A80, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3700mAh.
