Comparison review
The iPhone 6s Plus is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, getting a general score of 84.2 against 74.6. IPhone 6s Plus comes with iOS 9.x operating system, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 comes with Android 10 operating system. The iPhone 6s Plus is a older and a little bit heavier phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but Apple managed to make it somewhat thinner anyway.
The iPhone 6s Plus features a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processor and an additional graphics co-processor. Apple iPhone 6s Plus features a much better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, although it has a little smaller screen, a quite worse screen pixel density and a little worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 captures much clearer videos and photos than iPhone 6s Plus, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality, a camera with much more megapixels and a bigger aperture to capture better low-light captures.
IPhone 6s Plus features a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 6s Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Although iPhone 6s Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the iPhone 6s Plus, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, resigning a couple specifications.
