Apple iPhone SE (2020) is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, having a general score of 81.5 against 74.6. Apple iPhone SE (2020)'s construction is a lot lighter and somewhat thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, even though both were released with only 6 months difference. Apple iPhone SE (2020) comes with iOS 15.x operating system, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with Android 10 operating system.
IPhone SE (2020) features a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, although it has a little bit less pixels per display inch, a much smaller display and a way worse resolution of 750 x 1334px. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a little bit more storage capacity for games and applications than iPhone SE (2020), because although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.

Although Apple iPhone SE (2020) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
