Comparison review
The iPhone XR has a score of 82, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's 74.6 overall score. IPhone XR's design has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but it is just a bit heavier. Apple iPhone XR features a faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has 2 less cpu cores (although faster), and they both have the same RAM amount, the Apple iPhone XR also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
The iPhone XR has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, although it has a lot worse resolution of 828 x 1792px, a little less pixels per inch of screen and a little smaller display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 takes much better videos and photos than iPhone XR, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have a same size camera aperture and the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a way larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a much better image and video quality and a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with just a bit more memory capacity to install applications and games than iPhone XR, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features better battery performance than iPhone XR, because it has a 36% greater battery size.
Although Apple iPhone XR is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Apple iPhone XR, else you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, letting go a couple features and specifications.
