Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has a global score of 77.8, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's global score of 74.6. Asus ZenFone 6 (2019)'s body has the same weight than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but it is a little thicker. Both devices in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has the newer 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10 version.
The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a little lower pixel density, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also counts with a bit larger screen. Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) counts with a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has more RAM memory.
The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) features much more storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and 32 GB more internal storage capacity. The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) features better battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 takes a bit better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate, they both have a F1.8 aperture, a 0.5 inches sensor, a same resolution back camera and the same video definition.
Although Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, giving up some features and specifications.
