Comparison review
The Google Nexus 6 is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, with a overall score of 81.1 against 74.6. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 6 has the older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10. Even though the Google Nexus 6 is older and thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's design is still a little lighter.
Google Nexus 6 has just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has less cores , and they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Google Nexus 6 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Google Nexus 6 features a sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher screen pixel density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Google Nexus 6, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a lot more MP camera in the back and a bigger aperture for better captures in poorly lited situations.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a bit more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Google Nexus 6, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has better battery lifetime than Google Nexus 6, because it has a 24% more battery capacity.
Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Google Nexus 6, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, letting go a couple specs and features.
