Comparison review
Google Pixel 4 XL is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, having a general score of 82.9 against 74.6. Although Google Pixel 4 XL and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 were only released with a few months difference, the Google Pixel 4 XL design is just a little bit thinner but also a little bit heavier. Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a same size display, the Google Pixel 4 XL also has a better display pixels density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3040px.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a slightly bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 128 GB. The Google Pixel 4 XL features just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Google Pixel 4 XL also has 3 GB more RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a bit longer battery life than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 shoots better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light photos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a much larger back camera sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality and a much higher 48 MP resolution camera.
Although Google Pixel 4 XL is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
