Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4a is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, having an 82.9 score against 74.6. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Google Pixel 4a has the newer 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10 version. The Google Pixel 4a design is newer, just a little bit thinner and notably lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8.
The Google Pixel 4a has a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Google Pixel 4a also counts with a just a bit greater pixel number in each inch in the display. Google Pixel 4a counts with a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
Google Pixel 4a counts with a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 4a also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features better battery life than Google Pixel 4a, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3140mAh.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a superior camera than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking much higher quality pictures and videos and a much higher resolution camera in the back.
Google Pixel 4a costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
