Google Pixel 4a 5G has a global score of 87.5, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's general score of 74.6. These phones include Android operating system, but Google Pixel 4a 5G has the newer 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10 version, providing a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements. Google Pixel 4a 5G's construction is newer, somewhat lighter and just a little thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G counts with a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Google Pixel 4a 5G counts with a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also counts with a just a bit greater pixels density.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a superior camera than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and videos and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a lot higher 48 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a much larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G features a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has a 3 percent more battery size.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
