Comparison review
Google Pixel 6a is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, having a general score of 76.4 against 74.6. Both devices we compare here use Android OS (operating system), but Google Pixel 6a has newer 12 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10 version. Google Pixel 6a is a much newer and a bit lighter cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but it is also just a little thicker.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a very superior hardware performance than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a little sharper display than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a just a little less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a little bit larger display.
The Google Pixel 6a features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has a smaller aperture and slower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot higher 48 mega-pixels resolution.
The Google Pixel 6a has a bit superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a 4410mAh battery size.
Although Google Pixel 6a is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
