Comparison review
The HTC One M9 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, having a 77.7 score against 74.6. Despite of the fact HTC One M9 is extremely older and thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's design is still somewhat lighter. These phones work with Android OS, but HTC One M9 has older 5.0 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10.
HTC One M9 counts with a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a way smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a bit better number of pixels in each inch of screen. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and the HTC One M9 both feature quite similar memory capacity to store more apps and games, both of them have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
HTC One M9 features a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor, the HTC One M9 also has an extra graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processor. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a superior camera than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a much higher 48 megapixels resolution camera in the back, a larger aperture and a larger camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a really longer battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2840mAh.
The HTC One M9 is not only the best phones of the ones in this comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it a no doubt choice.
