Comparison review
The HTC U Ultra is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, having a score of 77 against 74.6. The HTC U Ultra construction is lighter and a little thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, although it was released many years before. The HTC U Ultra features a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a greater pixels count per inch of screen.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a bit more powerful processing unit than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores. HTC U Ultra features a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a much better camera than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a bigger sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality and a camera in the back with a way higher 48 megapixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features better battery performance than HTC U Ultra, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy HTC U Ultra, else you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, resigning a couple features and specs.
