Huawei Mate 10 Pro is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, with a score of 79.2 against 74.6. Huawei Mate 10 Pro is an older cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but Huawei managed to make it just a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner anyway. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 count with similar screens, although the Huawei Mate 10 Pro has a bit lower 1080 x 2160 resolution, a little smaller display and a bit lower pixels density.
Huawei Mate 10 Pro counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 10 Pro has a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro also has 3 GB more RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a better camera than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking photographs in low-light situations, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a much bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with much more megapixels.
