Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 lite has a score of 76.2, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's overall score of 74.6. Although Huawei Mate 20 lite is older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's design is just a bit thinner and just a bit lighter. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 20 lite has newer 8.1 Oreo version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10, providing a lot of extra features and performance improvements.
Huawei Mate 20 lite features a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 20 lite and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 have extremely similar displays, they have a better pixel quantity in each inch in the display, exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a same size screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a superior camera than Huawei Mate 20 lite, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution. Huawei Mate 20 lite has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 32 GB more internal storage and an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features just a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
