Comparison review
Huawei Mate X is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, getting a score of 89.4 against 74.6. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS, but the Huawei Mate X has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10. Even being the best in this comparison, the Huawei Mate X construction is incredibly heavier and a lot thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8.
Huawei Mate X has a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate X also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate X has just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a larger display, a quite higher pixels density and a way better 2200 x 2480 resolution.
The Huawei Mate X features a much greater memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 480 GB more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 captures much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a tinier sensor, and they both have the same camera aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a back facing camera with a higher resolution.
Huawei Mate X has a bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, giving up some features and specs.
