Comparison review

Huawei P20 Pro is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, having a score of 81.4 against 74.6. Both phones in this comparison come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so both should give all the same OS features. Huawei P20 Pro is an older device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but Huawei made it a little lighter and just a little bit thinner anyway.

The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM. Huawei P20 Pro features a screen that is just as good as the display in Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, although the Huawei P20 Pro has a bit worse pixels count in each inch in the display, a little smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2240 pixels.

The Huawei P20 Pro features much more memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The Huawei P20 Pro's battery performance is very similar to the battery lifetime in Xiaomi Redmi Note 8.

The Huawei P20 Pro has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a less mega-pixels back-facing camera and a worse (4K) video resolution, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a larger back camera sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.

The Huawei P20 Pro is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
