The Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's 74.6 overall score. Both phones in this comparison include the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding OS features. Huawei P40's design has the same thickness than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but it is just a little bit lighter.
The Huawei P40 has a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Huawei P40 also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
