Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro has a score of 88.2, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's 74.6 score. Despite being the best phone we are comparing, the Huawei P40 Pro is a just a little bit thicker and a little heavier phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. Both of these devices come with the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that.
The Huawei P40 Pro features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a little bit greater screen density, a quite better 1200 x 2640 resolution and a little larger display. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Huawei P40 Pro captures much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing images in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor taking lot better quality videos and pictures, a camera in the back with more MP and better 60 fps video frame rates.
The Huawei P40 Pro counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a 4200mAh battery size.
