Comparison review
LG Q8 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, getting a 77.2 score against 74.6. Even though the LG Q8 is way older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's construction is incredibly lighter and just a bit thinner. Both phones we are comparing here have Android operating system, but LG Q8 has 7.0 Nougat version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10, giving you a couple nice extra features.
The LG Q8 counts with a better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a bit better hardware performance than LG Q8, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores (but slower).
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a superior camera than LG Q8, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a lot higher resolution camera and a lot larger camera sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and photographs.
LG Q8 features a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the LG Q8 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has superior battery life than LG Q8, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh.
