Comparison review
The LG V30S ThinQ is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, with an 82.5 score against 74.6. LG V30S ThinQ is an older device than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but it is thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but LG V30S ThinQ has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10, giving a couple nice extra features.
LG V30S ThinQ has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher display pixels density and a higher 1440 x 2880 resolution. The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The LG V30S ThinQ features just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a better camera than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a lot larger camera sensor and a camera in the back with a much better resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has better battery lifetime than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 21 percent more battery capacity.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the LG V30S ThinQ, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, letting go some features and specs.
