Comparison review
The Moto G6 Plus has an overall score of 77.5, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's global score of 74.6. Moto G6 Plus's construction is somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, despite of the fact that it was released only 18 months before. Moto G6 Plus and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 have really similar screens, and although the Moto G6 Plus has a little bit smaller screen and a quite lower 1080 x 2160 resolution, they both have the same pixels density.
The Motorola Moto G6 Plus counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Motorola Moto G6 Plus also has more internal storage capacity.
The Motorola Moto G6 Plus has a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Motorola Moto G6 Plus also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features superior battery lifetime than Moto G6 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3200mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a better camera than Moto G6 Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing images or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a way bigger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a lot more megapixels back-facing camera.
