The Moto Z Force Droid Edition has an overall score of 76.4, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's 74.6 score. Moto Z Force Droid Edition is an much older cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but Motorola managed to make it lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a bit better processing power than Moto Z Force Droid Edition, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores.

Moto Z Force Droid Edition features a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better number of pixels per inch in the screen and a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 captures much clearer photos and videos than Moto Z Force Droid Edition, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a much higher 48 MP resolution back facing camera.

Moto Z Force Droid Edition counts with a much better memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a bit longer battery performance than Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Edition, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
