Moto Z2 Force Edition features a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

Moto Z2 Force Edition counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and more internal memory. The Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition also has more RAM memory.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a very superior battery life than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 2730mAh. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 takes much better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a much larger back camera sensor which provides a lot higher image and video quality, a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels and a larger aperture to take better low light images and videos.

Although Moto Z2 Force Edition is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Moto Z2 Force Edition, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, resigning some specifications.
