Comparison review
OnePlus 8 Pro is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, getting a 77.2 score against 74.6. OnePlus 8 Pro is a a bit heavier cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but they are equally thin. The OnePlus 8 Pro features a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has 5 GB more RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 Pro features a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a little bigger screen, a greater pixels density and a better 1440 x 3168 resolution. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The OnePlus 8 Pro features a little better battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity. OnePlus 8 Pro shoots clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a 48 mega pixels resolution camera, the same diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has faster video frame rate and a lot bigger sensor which offers a much better photo and video quality.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the OnePlus 8 Pro, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, giving up some features and specs.
