Comparison review
The Galaxy A30 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, with a 79.6 score against 74.6. Galaxy A30 is a just a little bit thinner and lighter cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, even when both of them were released only a couple of months apart. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a bit superior processor than Galaxy A30, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy A30, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a quite better count of pixels per inch of display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy A30, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures or videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video quality, a lot higher resolution camera in the back and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking way higher quality pictures and videos.
The Galaxy A30 counts with a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A30 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 have very similar batteries duration.
