Comparison review
Galaxy C7 has a general score of 77.7, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's 74.6 global score. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy C7 has 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10. Although Galaxy C7 is incredibly older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's construction is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy C7, because it has a little bigger display, a little more pixels per inch of display and a slightly better 1080 x 2340px resolution. Galaxy C7 has a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB, the Galaxy C7 also has 32 GB more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy C7's processor is just as good as Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's processing unit, and although the Samsung Galaxy C7 has 1 GB more RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy C7, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a lot better camera than Galaxy C7, because it has a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a larger aperture for better images and videos in poorly lited situations.
