Galaxy J7 Max has a global score of 76.1, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's overall score of 74.6. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy J7 Max is noticeably older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's design is just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Galaxy J7 Max has 7.0 Nougat version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10 version, counting with a couple additional features and better performance.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max counts with a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max also has 1 GB more RAM.
