Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 20 has a global score of 90.8, which is way better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's score of 74.6. Galaxy Note 20 is a a bit heavier phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but both of them have the same thickness. The Galaxy Note 20 features a little faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note 20 also has 5 GB more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 count with similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 has a little lower pixel count per display inch, it also counts with a bit larger display and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 has a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a bit better camera than Galaxy Note 20, because although it has a smaller sensor shooting lower quality photos, and they both have the same camera aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a much more MP back camera and higher 30 frames per second video frame rate.
The Galaxy Note 20 has just a little bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has an 8% more battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note 20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
