The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, with a score of 98.9 against 74.6. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has 13 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10, counting with lots of additional features and some performance improvements. Although the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is just a bit heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's a bit thinner and newer.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra counts with a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a better 1440 x 3088 pixels resolution, a bit larger display and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. Galaxy Note 20 Ultra features a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra also has more RAM memory.

Although Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, letting go a couple specifications.
