Comparison review
The Galaxy Note3 has an overall score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's global score of 74.6. Galaxy Note3's construction has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but it is lighter. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Galaxy Note3 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10, providing a lot of extra features.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Note3, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a greater number of cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because it has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340, a little bit bigger screen and a little higher pixel density.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note3, and although they both have the same video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a way higher 48 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, a larger diafragm aperture and a lot bigger sensor providing a way better image quality.
Galaxy Note3 counts with a greater storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because it has a 25% bigger battery capacity.
