Comparison review
Galaxy Note5 is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, with an 80.2 score against 74.6. Although the Galaxy Note5 is older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's body is somewhat lighter and a little thinner. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a better pixels density.
The Galaxy Note5 counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy Note5 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features just a bit more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note5, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
