Comparison review
Galaxy S10 5G has a score of 93.6, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's 74.6 global score. Although the Galaxy S10 5G and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 were released only 5 months apart, Galaxy S10 5G's body is a little bit heavier but just a bit thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the Galaxy S10 5G has a newer 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10 version, so it provides some additional features.
The Galaxy S10 5G has a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy S10 5G also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a bit larger screen, a better 1440 x 3040px resolution and a just a little greater pixels amount per inch in the screen.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy S10 5G, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture and worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a back camera with lot more mega-pixels and a way bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Galaxy S10 5G counts with a much better storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy S10 5G features a little longer battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but you can get a much better phone for that few extra dollars.
