Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S20 is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, with a 94.8 score against 74.6. The Samsung Galaxy S20 construction is just a little bit thinner and lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, even though they were released only a couple of months apart. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S20 has newer 13 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10 version.
Galaxy S20 has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3200 resolution and more pixels per inch in the display. Samsung Galaxy S20 features a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy S20 has a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has more RAM memory. Galaxy S20's battery life is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 one. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy S20, because although it has a tinier camera sensor which gives a worse image and video quality, and they both have the same video definition and the same camera aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with faster 30 fps video frame rate and a camera with much more MP.
Although Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. If you want to save some money, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
