Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 has a global score of 87.4, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's 74.6 score. Although the Galaxy S6 is noticeably older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's body is thinner and incredibly lighter. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy S6 has an older 5.0 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10 version.
Galaxy S6 has a quite better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores and a 3 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy S6 also has an extra graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processing unit. Galaxy S6 features a much sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a higher count of pixels per screen inch.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a way better battery life than Galaxy S6, because it has a 57% greater battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a much better camera than Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a camera with a much better 48 mega pixels resolution, a lot bigger sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and photos and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos.
Galaxy S6 costs a little more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
