Comparison review
The Galaxy S9 has a score of 83.3, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's global score of 74.6. The Galaxy S9 is a lighter phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but they are 0.33inches thick. The Samsung Galaxy S9 has a little bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and more pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy S9 features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 32 GB more internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 400 GB. Galaxy S9 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S9 also has 1 GB more RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has a 33% more battery capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 shoots much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a lot larger camera sensor which offers a much higher photo and video quality and a back-facing camera with much more MP.
Samsung Galaxy S9 not only is the best phones of the ones we compare here, but it's also very cheap compared to the other phones.
