Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a score of 92.3, which is a lot better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's overall score of 74.6. Both phones in our current comparison use Android operating system, but Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a newer 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10 version. Galaxy Z Flip 5G's body is newer, somewhat thinner and just a little lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Z Flip 5G counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a bit better number of pixels per inch in the screen, a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2636px and a quite bigger screen.
Galaxy Z Flip 5G features much more memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 captures much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have a F1.8 aperture and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a camera with a much higher 48 MP resolution and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing much higher quality photos and videos.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but you can get a much better phone for that few extra dollars.
