Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, having a 94.6 score against 74.6. These phones include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has newer 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2's design is newer and thinner, but also extremely heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a display that is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 one, because although the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a quite lower screen density, it also counts with a better 1768 x 2208 pixels resolution and a bigger screen. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a much better storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little longer battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has lower video frame rates and a smaller back camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a back facing camera with a lot higher 48 mega pixels resolution.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Z Fold 2, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, letting go a couple specifications.
