Comparison review
Xperia 10 III is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, getting an 83.7 score against 74.6. Both devices in our current comparison use Android operating system, but Xperia 10 III has a more recent 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10 version, so it counts with some extra features. The Xperia 10 III is a lighter phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but both of them are 0.33inches thick.
The Xperia 10 III has a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 10 III also has more RAM. Xperia 10 III has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little higher 1080 x 2520px resolution and a little bit more pixels per inch of screen.
The Xperia 10 III counts with a very superior storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 96 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xperia 10 III features a bit longer battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a much better camera than Sony Xperia 10 III, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a same size camera aperture and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a much higher 48 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
