Comparison review
Xperia XZ Premium has a general score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's 74.6 global score. Xperia XZ Premium is an a lot older and a little bit heavier phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but Sony managed to make it just a bit thinner anyway. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ Premium counts with a much more vibrant screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater pixels density and a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a better camera than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a bigger camera aperture for better photos and video in low-light situations, a much more MP back facing camera and a larger sensor which provides a higher image and video quality.
Xperia XZ Premium has a superior memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that supports up to 256 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features better battery duration than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3230mAh.
