Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has a general score of 85, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's score of 74.6. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has the newer 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10, so it provides a couple nice extra features. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite construction is newer, somewhat lighter and thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite both feature extremely similar processing units, because although the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with 3 GB more RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite counts with a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a just a bit worse pixels density, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a bit larger display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite have really similar cameras, and although the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has a way more megapixels back facing camera, they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a same size camera aperture. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite features a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite counts with a bit better battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a 4250mAh battery size.
