Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, getting an 83.3 score against 74.6. Xiaomi Mi 8's design is just a little lighter and just a bit thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, despite of the fact that it was released just 17 months before. These phones have the same Android 10 OS. The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, although it has a little smaller display, a little lower number of pixels per inch of display and a bit lower 1080 x 2248 resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has more RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a lot better 48 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a much bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has improved battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has an 18% more battery size.
