Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 has a score of 83.2, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's overall score of 74.6. Although Xiaomi Mi 9 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 were released with only a few months difference, Xiaomi Mi 9 is just a bit lighter and a little bit thinner. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a just a bit lower number of pixels per display inch, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with a quite bigger display.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has more RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 3300mAh. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have the same aperture, the same sensor size, the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same resolution camera in the back, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has faster video frame rates.
