Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, getting a overall score of 77.5 against 74.6. Even though the Xiaomi Mi Max is incredibly older and a little heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's body is still just a bit thinner. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher screen density and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340px. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 takes much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a bigger aperture and a camera with a much better 48 MP resolution.
Xiaomi Mi Max has much more storage to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max has greater battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a 21 percent greater battery size.
