The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite has a global score of 80.6, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's overall score of 74.6. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite has 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10 version, offering some nice extra features. Although Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is a better cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, we must highlight that it's also a somewhat thicker and just a little bit heavier cellphone.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a just a bit worse pixels count in each display inch, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite also counts with a quite bigger display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a bit more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite has a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite also has more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite has greater battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a 5260mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite captures just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for taking photos or videos in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite also counts with a bigger camera sensor and a much more MP camera.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, letting go a couple specs and features.
