Comparison review
Xiaomi Poco M3 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, getting a global score of 78.2 against 74.6. The Xiaomi Poco M3 is a newer cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, but it is somewhat thicker and a bit heavier. These phones come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding OS features.
Xiaomi Poco M3's CPU is very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's processing unit, and although the Xiaomi Poco M3 has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a just a little greater pixels number per inch in the screen.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 32 GB more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Poco M3 features a much better battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have the same camera sensor size, the same resolution back-facing camera and a same size camera aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Xiaomi Poco M3 is also a bargain compared to the other phones, which makes it an obvious call.
