Comparison review
The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has a general score of 81.5, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's 74.6 score. Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G's construction is extremely newer than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's, but it is a little bit heavier and a little thicker. Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has the newer 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has Android 10 version, offering some extra features and increased performance.
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G counts with a display that's just as good as the display in Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has a little lower amount of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a quite bigger display.
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G features a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, because although it has a lesser mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also counts with a way better video resolution.
The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1 TB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G features greater battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
