Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, getting a score of 80.3 against 74.6. Despite of the fact that Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's construction is just a little thinner and just a little lighter. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a display that's very similar to the display in Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, they have a higher pixel quantity per display inch, the same 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a screen of the same size.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a bit better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with a very superior storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 256 GB and 96 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7's battery lifetime is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 one. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features a camera that's very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 one, and although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has higher video frame rate, they both have a camera in the back with a 48 mega-pixels, a 0.5 inches back camera sensor, the same 1920x1080 video quality and a same size aperture.
